The Gold Club is still the same, after all these years
It is slow on a Saturday afternoon. The place is cavernous, with a couple of bars and a long stage in between. Only one of the bars was being staffed, and no ladies were dancing on the stages. There were a handful of patrons sitting around the bar. I settled into a seat at the bar, and watched the others engage in conversation. I am trying to reduce my alcohol intake, so I got a Diet Coke, which costs $6.
There were a handful of dancers. They were all white, which is a contrast to some other clubs in Baltimore. The girls seem to congregate around some regulars. I was finally approached by a dancer who tried to interest me in a dance. It was $30 per dance. I agreed, and it was good. But she kept switching positions every 20 seconds, almost as if she did not want me to get settled into one position. I had another lap dance with another dancer, and it was quite enjoyable. I don’t know if we are allowed to give names of the dancers, so I will restrain myself from doing so.
Overall, the place was clean. The girls were attractive enough. There was a variety of sizes. There are worse ways to spend a Saturday afternoon.
