Woody's is #1 in Cedar Rapids

I had not been in CR for 12 years and was happy to see Woody's was still here. As I remembered, the place was clean and easy to get around. Went in on a Wednesday about 6:00 and the girls were starting their first shift. Probably 7 girls and that grew to about 15 by 8:00. The crowd flowed in and out all evening but the place stayed busy.

Several really nice dancers and all were willing to talk with you. Their small stage makes it really easy to up close and play. The new, well new to me, VIP area is a great set up to avoid rip offs. You pay for time, not songs so once the dancer starts the clock, you enjoy till it stops a 0. At $175 for 30 minutes sounds like a lot, but well worth it. Get a time that is already priced on the board, unless you want to do math with the bouncer - making change and math ain't his job.

While this has always been a juicy bar, they are happy to help you with ice to chill your beer.
