Mediocre Visit on a Thursday Evening

Dropped by on a Thursday evening, after my last business meeting, around 7:30 or so. The upstairs was still closed, but the ground floor bar/club was open with no cover. The club location is in the heart of Toronto, not far from many hotels. Walked by several times before deciding to check it out on my last night in town.

When you walk in there is a long bar and then seating to the right opposite the stage. The "private" dance area is in the back to the right of the seating. Ordered a beer at the bar (~$10) and grabbed a seat. It might have been right around a shift change since there didn't appear to be many dancers working the floor, but that began to change. There were probably 6 or 7 dancers there and roughly the same number of patrons. Many of the dancers appeared to be talking to regulars.

Was initially approached by a young dancer from Montreal. We chatted a bit. She seemed nice but was eager (a little too eager) to get to the dances. After she moved on, I changed locations to get a little closer to the stage, and ordered another beer. Most dances were 3 dance sets with partial to full nudity. No one seemed to be tipping the stage dancers, but there was one young buck who just sat close to the stage and stared (he might even have been drooling).
