I needed to discover if heavenly bodies could be tempted into sin
I set my Uber destination as the Korner House Bar, across the street, so that I didn't have to engage my driver in a discussion about my strip club habit, then played human Frogger dodging traffic to reach the club. It's on a large street in a largely industrial section of a Chicago suburb. The outside of the club looked impressive with its hb logo and the parking lots are large.
On entering there was a window with a $15 cover charge, but I downloaded the free entry pass from the website. It sends a text, which I unsubscribed from immediately upon entering. A bouncer dude gave me the lay of the land: bikinis on stage, songs topless upstairs start at $60/5 songs with "full contact" but you can't touch the ass, tits, legs or anything. I crossed my fingers when I agreed with him; then I asked if there were any "more private" rooms and he said he didn't know. lol
The room was big with concrete floor, and it didn't look as opulent inside as I was expecting. Three small stages going front to back, a small bar with just a little seating to the left, and lots of tables. I grabbed a table near the middle and back stages and a waitress quickly appeared offering me $2, $5, and $7 beer options. Then, the annoying "test tube shot" girls started showing up: "do you want a shot - no, then buy me a shot - no". Red walls on the room, some Cinco de Mayo decorations, and the Men's room in back left was relatively clean with no troll.
