Full Speed Ahead

I will mesh two Saturday visits together. I had been meaning to stop by Torpedos for a while, as a young Brazilian I had become friendly with up north had been going there for a while. So, a couple weeks ago I finally stopped by, and I was pleasantly surprised by what I saw!

The first Saturday I arrived in the later afternoon. I parked in the train station parking lot and walked around. I walked in the front door and for a split second the security guy at the front door asked for my ID and then said go ahead before I even started to take it out. Seemed very low key. There was no entry fee.

I took a seat at the mostly rectangular bar that was straight ahead and there were probably somewhere between 15 and 20 guys, with roughly the same number of ladies. I ordered a Coors Light bottle ($5) and began to look around.
