Spring Was In The Air.

I made a stop at Cabaret II last Tuesday around 2:30 PM in the afternoon. The club opens at 2 PM, and I generally find this place quiet during this time on a weekday. Unless you live in Gresham, it is the furthest of all the Portland clubs on the East side of town.

The pros of this club. It was built as a strip club, unlike most clubs in Portland that the dive lounge added a stage/pole after the fact. I like the stadium style layout with the three level seating, all situated to view the lower center stage. The stage is about eye level when sitting at the rack and with that, no rail to speak of, except a small gold metal rail around the perimeter. The lap dance booths are on the upper level away from the club traffic for added privacy. The club does not have cameras in the booths. They tend to contract with dancers on the better end of the body scale. Dance prices are set by the club and are $30/song. The catch, you have to buy two songs at a time, so it costs you $60. They have a dj announcing dancer names. A dancer is always on the stage, so no waiting for a dancer to come up if the club is empty when you walk in. This club almost always provides what I am looking for in the lap dance booth in a variety of ways, depending on the dancer. They have VIP rooms with doors that lock, if you can afford this.

The cons of this club. Doesn’t open until 2PM. A little stingy with getting totally nude on stage, but some will pull aside their G-string to give a peek of the goods. Dancers are also stingy with coming over the rack to give a little more personal attention. The stage setup makes it a little awkward for dancers to come down on the customers lap, but those that do, get rewarded by me. When agreeing to a lap dance with a dancer, you have to pay the doorman at least the minimum $60 before heading upstairs to the booth. If you want to add more dances up in the booth (2 songs at a time), the dancer has to take that cash down to the doorman before continuing. This club is a long drive for me.
