Second visit to Diamonds
As mentioned before, this club is in a bit of an odd location. Almost in the middle of a residential section located behind storage buildings. Signage is good and may have been updated recently. Parking is almost nonexistent.
Through the front door you enter a large room with the bar to the right. Couches around the walls to the left and restrooms in the back left corner. An archway at the far end leads to a short pass through room with the juke box for dancer songs. A room off to the left is for dancers changing. Off to the right is the couch and VIP dancing area (just found this out this time around, it looked like storage the last time I was there). Straight ahead from the small room is the stage area, The room and stage are both long and narrow with mirrors on the side walls and only a single row of well worn chairs in either side.
Very slow on this Friday. Only two girls working, attractive but not spectacular. Only myself and another customer, bartender, and a couple others. Odd but friendly vibe. No music when I walked in. No dancing. $10 cover to the bartender, Beer was $4. The dancers and someone I assume was an owner/manager type were having a conversation about relationships and sexual exploits at the end of the bar (yes it was quiet enough to hear it all). One of the dancers bought a round of shots for the bar (all seven of us). Owner/manager guy decided to offer up $50 to whichever of the (2) customers tipped the next dancer the most during her set. She was decent with the usual stage moves and average pole work. At least that got the dancers going for a bit.
