Average Vegas club
PREFACE: I went to Vegas to watch the first weekend of the NFL playoffs with some friends, and I hit up 5 clubs while I was there, some solo and some as a group. The first thing to note is that I haven’t been to many clubs during the last couple of years because of work/personal priorities and this was also my first time back to Vegas since before Covid so my point of reference in terms of pricing and club vibe is pretty dated, although it’s pretty clear that the Vegas clubs turn over girls/atmosphere very frequently so things can change pretty quickly. The other thing to note is that these Vegas reviews are written from the perspective of an out-of-towner/tourist, and I’m fully aware of what Vegas is and that it’s overpriced compared to pretty much anywhere else in the world.
The first club I went to was Crazy Horse 3 (Thursday night after midnight). This was a solo trip as I arrived before the rest of my group. I wanted to try out CH3 since I’d never been there on previous visits, and I figured I’d end up at the other major clubs once everyone else showed up. I called the club van and got picked up within 15 minutes, and it only took about 10 minutes to get to the club which is average for pretty much any of the major clubs from the hotels on the strip. Cover was comped since I took the club van, and I tipped the driver $20 which was less what I would have paid to get in (probably $40-50). Not that it matters, but the club kind of looks like Caesar’s Palace from the outside. Inside, CH3 has an upscale decor on par with the other major Vegas strip clubs like Sapphires, Rhino, Hippo. (imagine lots of red mood lighting, strobe lights, and loud bass). From what I remember, the main room has a center stage with poles, where there were usually 2 girls dancing at any time, and the stage was surrounded by some tables and plush chairs. There was a full bar along the entire right wall and what looked to be primarily reserved tables along the left wall. I asked about sitting at the rail and just tipping the dancers but one of the hosts said I would have to buy a bottle, which I wasn’t interested in doing and I ended up posting up at the bar, where a mixed drink cost ~$20.
It seemed like a slower night for Vegas and there were fewer girls than I would have expected heading into the weekend. There were probably at most ~50 girls working with a rough estimate being 20% white, 30-40% Latina, ~30% mixed, and a very few AA and pure Asians. A lot of the Latinas also said they were from Columbia/Brazil/Venezuela, but I assume they were mostly Cuban. I’d rate the overall roster that night at the lower end of the spectrum in the 6-7 range and with maybe a couple of 8’s walking around, and I didn’t really see any absolute stunners while I was there which was a little surprising. Most girls tended towards the thin model look with a lot of them having implants or tattoos, and you’re kind of out of luck if you like natural bodies. But overall it really seemed like a lot of average girls done up with makeup and heels. Most girls did the lame “my name is XXX wanna dance routine” and I just shooed them away since they didn’t interest me and also didn’t give much effort.
