Sad times for PHC

This used to be a favorite stop before closure/covid etc. How does it even stay open now?

10pm, Valet $10 with tip, entrance $20. Same layout downstairs as before, with pay station straight ahead when you walk in, bar to the left and stage surrounded by tables and booths past the bar, bathroom with the attendant past the stage. Music was loud, but not as loud as LS, music was not rap, I'd guess from a few years ago.(?) Very large screen TVs overhead with football game on all of them, LAC/JAX.

The bar had about four clients, and their were another two pairs of AA couples, one set at a table, one at a booth. There were portly waitresses, and I had an $8 beer. The shot girl was a foxy slim AA. Dancers would go on for a couple songs, and the stage was empty in between. The short portly blond dancer that came to sit with me told me that the cubbies upstairs had no curtains, but that corners were pretty private. I bought her a $14 lemon drop out of pity, as it was clear she was going to make next to nothing on a Sa night. She mentioned that she heard there was a better turnout Fr, but I wouldn't count on it. The other dancers were an AA amazon type, and a portly short brunette. I didn't inquire further, the game was over, and I took off when the portly blond was prepping for the stage.

So sad, life goes on.
