Great experience for a strip club newbie

Note that I have not been the biggest strip club person (paid for dances only a handful of times), so I've been pretty ignorant as to what strip clubs are like (or could be like) until recently. I generally felt that you were spending money to just get teased, so would rather spend money going out to meet girls there instead.

However, I was by myself in LA on a Thursday night with no one to hang out with, so I decided to check this place out (which I just found through yelp). Surrounding area was pretty sketchy, though nothing too out of the ordinary if you've lived in the urban areas of LA. I found street parking on the side because I did not want to valet, but I can imagine that being uncomfortable given the surroundings. Paid $20 cover and went in.

It didn't seem particularly crowded--I always thought Thursday nights being a good night to go out (due to college students) but maybe that didn't apply to strip clubs. I just sat on the side by myself to watch the stage. Ambiance seemed to go for the elegant look, though a little dark for me to see the stage (though I was also farther in the back as well). It seems like there is also an option to purchase a booth to sit as well? I think a dancer mentioned this makes it more likely a girl will come and sit with you, or something like that.

After ordering a mandatory non-alcoholic drink, I felt like I was getting approached by dancers constantly. One dancer compared it to speed dating, and I could see that. Girls would come up and chit chat for a bit, and then ask if interested in a private dance. It seemed like a lot only mentioned a VIP for $200 for 15 minutes or something, or a VIP with a bed for a LOT more, but I generally declined. Some offered I think 3 songs for $90, which sounded more reasonable to me, but I wanted to settle in and check the place out more (which was harder since was talking to the dancers all the time, not as much time to watch the stage). Some also referenced the ability to get shuttled with a dancer to 4play's sister bar that serves alcohol, but also declined. Unlike Vegas (where most of my strip club experience is at), there were no lap dances in the main room (which was much more affordable), so I guess the only dances are in the back or upstairs. The girls looked to be in their 20's, and were all pretty nice, not pushy. All were pretty attractive.

After about an hour, one girl came out that caught my eye, someone I would consider very hot. She came up, talked for a bit, and we had some things in common, so that helped in giving the feeling of a connection. She also offered the $90 for 3 songs, so I figured why not.
