Dead on a Thursday night

It’s been over a year since I’ve been there so I was anxious to see how it was doing. It was usually my GoTo place because they usually had lots of girls and there were no bad ones. I had a lot of favorites there in the old days. They’re not open in the afternoons anymore, they open at 7pm. They’re closed on Sunday and Monday. This time I arrived at 8pm on a Thursday. The bouncer remembered me and told me to come back in an hour, “no girls”. I came back 2 hours later and there was only one girl. She was a middle-aged woman from Brazil. Think Charo. Not my type so I finished my beer ($7) and left.

The setup was the same as in the past. A long bar on the right as you enter with 2 small platform stages behind the bar. This is normally where 2 girls would dance for about 15 minutes, and after a song they go down the bar to collect tips. In normal times girls would hang out at the bar and offer back massages and see if you wanted to get private dances in the back room where there are booths with a small couch and table. The bouncer collecting the dance fee can’t see inside the booths from his seat but he will come by when your time is up. Mileage will vary depending on the girls but in general you probably wouldn’t get much in the way of extras. I doubt if dance prices changed since the other times I was here. There is also a big room with a stage and tables and couches along the walls. In the old days there was a mix of local girls and foreigners from Russia and Latin America. You could always find one you’d like.

But this time the place was dead. One dancer and hardly any customers.
