Got a great dance, but weird used car negotiation type experience

The Cloakroom is a pretty classy joint. Definitely feels high end, but has some annoying policies, some of which are just the laws of DC, I assume.

Bouncer scans ID outside and directs you upstairs. The first thing you notice is the decor—it's classy. Lots of nice photography on the walls, very clean, kind of a boudoir feel. $20 cover at the door, another bouncer offers me a table or a bar seat. I head to the bar.

It's a two level club, long and narrow. Bar is in the middle, stage is behind the bar. You can walk around the entire bar/stage area to tip at the stage if you like. There are some couch areas along the walls for bottle service and table dances. As mentioned by others, drinks are a tad pricey. Miller Lite set me back $9 with an automatic gratuity included.
