This place is weird, even by Long Island standards
This place is weird, even by Long Island standards.
It's in a strip mall, and only open Thursday-Saturday after 10 pm, probably to comply with the Karens of the area. I walk in on a Thursday around midnight and am asked for my ID and a $10 cover, there was no pat down or anything of that nature. After giving the cover I head to the bar. $13 for a vodka soda, served by the man Billy Dean himself apparently.
At the other side of the establishment is the stage, with poles on either side and seats to get all around to get an up close view. Towards the back there is the men's room with no door at all, a curtained lap dance booth, and I guess further is the VIP room but I didn't partake so I don't know exactly where it is or how it looks inside. At the bar there was a sign for the VIP room, $200 for 30 minutes plus two drinks included. Honestly that sounds like a decent value all things considered but I'd prefer to pay less for 16 minutes and no drinks. Singles could be exchanged at the booth up front by the door from the bouncer.
