The weekend Stars

I don’t go to Stars too often but I found myself in the area on a Friday night, so I decided to stop by to see some old friends. One thing about Stars (at least when I go) is there’s always a lot of cars in the parking lot, but they do have a decent sized parking lot, so I’m always able to find a parking spot.

I think cover might vary a bit with the weeknights and weekends. I *think* on the weekends it’s a 6 dollar cover before 8pm, and then a 8 dollar cover after 8pm. One thing that they didn’t do this time that they usually do was the pat down. They just checked my ID, I paid the cover, and I was in. It’s a nice looking club for sure, they promote themselves as a gentleman’s club, decent size. One thing I immediately noticed is they added a lot more seats to sit down at throughout the club.

They have lottery machines, there is a smoking patio. There were probably like 6 to 8 seats at the bar. Speaking of bar, drink prices were a little more expensive than most of the other Portland clubs. A rum and coke was like $8.50, a Vodka Cranberry was $9, etc. The men’s restroom had a bathroom attendant/troll. There are three stages. The third stage at the back of the club, there is a TV embedded directly behind the stage, so kinda hard to pay attention to the girl when the TV is on right behind her lol. 2 song stage sets, 1st song topless, 2nd song: nude. Music was a lot of rock and some hip hop. Customer wise it was probably 60% older and 40% younger crowd.
