Negril is Next

I'm visiting Montego Bay for my cousin's birthday. I've been here since Friday. I visited Moods first. We were charged 20$ at the door, but it was dead and nothing immediately caught my eyes so we visited Taboo. They wouldn't let us in because my friend was wearing a hat. He offered to pay more to keep the hat on and security said if we buy a 1000 USD booth we can enter with his hat on turned to the back. We were about to just leave because at that point every interaction we had with the locals resulted in us being begged for money or overcharged for service (for example, we were charged 60 USD for 4 grilled jerk chicken thighs outside a nightclub.) I convinced mt friend to give a shot and we put his hat back in the car and went inside. We paid 20$ entry at the door and was not allowed to bring any smoking materials into the club. There weren't too many dancers, but the 3 most recognizably beautiful dancers did approach me at some point or another that night. The drinks were priced comparable to a small American city close to a major city, which is not good because who wants to be overcharged in a 3rd world country.

The dancers ranged anywhere from a 3 to a 8. There were no drop dead gorgeous dancers on Friday night. However, there was one athletic and pretty dancer named Spark who I threw ones at. She came to me after she danced on stage and quickly offered a private lap dance. I didn't like the way I had to pay 20$ for a vip room and then another 70$ for another more private vip room. She asked me for $250 to get busy with her, but I offered her $180. After finishing, another pretty dancer followed me around trying to get me to go back but I was done for the night. They offer hookah there too.

I came back the following night before midnight and it was the same thing all over again. There were about 10 dancers, all the same dancers from Friday and too many people there. Very few people were throwing money and it got boring relatively fast. I left without doing any extras. I saw the same two pretty dancers and they were cool, but they just wanted me to go back into the vip area. Overall I wouldn't recommend this club unless you're comfortable paying USA prices in a foreign country.
