I have frequented Camelot several times...

I have frequented Camelot several times over the past three years. My office is a few blocks away, Camelot is open for lunch, and well... given the choice between the McDonalds a block up M Street and here, a Big Mac seems somehow lacking.

Camelot is not a strip club. It is a Gentleman's Club. The girls are gorgeous, servers and dancers alike. The servers are friendly and easy to strike a conversation with. The dancers, with a little effort, are likewise. But are any dancers going to wink a flirtatious eye your way? Probably not. That said, Camelot is what it is: nice atmosphere, very pretty ladies, a damn decent lunch menu (who'd a thought it!), cold beer, and a pleasant, relaxing distraction from The Daily Grind. You're not getting a lap dance, you're not getting much in the way of conversation; but you are getting a lot of eye candy. And sometimes, a man's gotta satisfy his sweet tooth.

If the dancers spent a little more time and effort schmoozing the patrons, my rating would be higher. But usually, they just want to swing by after their dance and suck a dollar bill out of you. Dancers the world over need to learn that a little personality goes a long way... even if you have to feign interest in the guy sitting at the table.
