Better than I Remembered
So it has been a couple years since I've been to Body Shop, but popped in a couple of times in the past month and felt it was worth updating. It's about 15 minutes away from DC, where despite claims of lap dances, DC law still prohibit contact with undressed dancers, so keep that in mind if venturing into the city. VA is even worse, with pasties required, and then there's Baltimore about 30 minutes to the north, were the rules are looser and have heard stories of extra clubs, but I cannot confirm.
For the basics, it's located in an industrial park (as required by PG County zoning). It looks like it started life as a garage, thus the name I guess. Big neon light on the outside, but since it's on the back end of the industrial park, you need to follow the little cardboard signs with flashing lights they post on the side road leading up to the place. You may feel like you're heading into oblivion, but just keep following the signs. You will actually pass another club (Showcase) on your way there. There is a fenced in parking area, but on most days, the dancers will fill up that parking. There is additional parking in front of the fence and further down on either side, but just look over your shoulder. I have never had issues, but have heard folks have been on occasion robbed. Upon going through the main garage door, you're usually met by security, who may or may not wand you down. Go through the next door and there is the window to pay. Cover is $30 (they have a military discount at $20). If it's busy, they'll throw a wristband on you and buzz you in. If it's slow, they'll just let you in.
The club interior is well maintained and still looks as good as when they opened. Once decent sized stage in the middle with a pole. Off to either side of the stage are to VIP seating areas, which are usually unoccupied and only used by dancers to count their money and get dressed after a set. There is a coach directly front and center of the stage. High top tables directly behind the coach and low tables on the sides of the high tops, plus a coach up against the wall directly by the entrance door. A "bar" is located towards the back where you can get non-alcoholic beverages (BYOB in PG county), your red solo cup, or pay for lap dances. In the corner next to the bar is the DJ booth. The space overall isn't huge, and I've been there when it fills up quickly.
