Afternoon at the Criket

The Criket is right off Michigan Ave. and has a private fenced-in parking lot in the back and free parking. There’s no cover in the daytime. I usually grab a Coke for $7. They usually have one dancer going for a few songs on the main stage in the middle.

Talent varies. I’ve found some gems or left after about 30 minutes. My most recent visit was around 1 p.m. on a Thursday. There was actually about 8-10 girls out on the floor. Shay a very attractive blonde was on the stage. She must have seen me watching her so she came over after. As attractive as Shay is, she’s tall, long sexy legs, great ass and nice rake, she’s not much for conversation. We talked for a little bit before finally going to the back.

It was $10 to get in VIP and you get a wristband if you want to come back. Shay offered everything for a price I wasn’t comfortable with so I just went with dances. Great few dances that had me rethinking my previous stance, but I stuck with five dances for $20 each. The VIP has curtains but the benches on the booths have seen much better days.
