Fun time on the day shift

Got to the club around 5pm on a weekday. I arrived in an Uber so no valet charge, and apparently it was early enough so there was no cover. As soon as I walked in, a woman threw her arms around me and said "I've been waiting for you!" That came on too strong for me, so I told her I wanted to get a seat at the bar and see what happens. I sat at the bar and drank a Corona and water (total tab was just over $20). There were around 10 women milling about, two dancing at a time. Energy in the room was pretty low, which was maybe expected as it was late afternoon/early evening. The bar was half-full, and the booths and tables by the stage were almost all empty (or filled with dancers eating or waiting for their sets).

I ended up talking with Fancy, Angel, Bonnie, and a couple of other women whose names I don't remember. They were nice and easygoing. The day shift seemed to take a little bit of an edge off everybody, as it was almost time for the dancers to clock out. I ended up going downstairs with somebody who will remain nameless. We negotiated $150 for a dance and... more... Paid $20 for one of the small rooms, which was small but not as dark as others have said. Had a nice time. Afterwards, I paid my tab and went on my way.
