Odd layout, and lackluster stages, but fit dancers and decent lap dances
Cheetah Pompano was a relatively easy drive from the Fort Lauderdale area. When I arrived around 9:00pm on a Tuesday evening there was plenty of parking available in a lit parking lot. The guy outside charged me $2 for parking. The cover charge was $10.
The layout of this place felt a little odd. Immediately on entry, in a crowded way, was the bar. It's rectangular with seating around it and a small stage inside, along with the bartenders. It was a bit of a squeeze in either direction to go around the bar to somewhere to sit.
The main part of the club was awkwardly shaped, with mirrors on a bunch of walls which weren't all hung square. This made looking around to gauge the room a little difficult. I thought the mirrors confused things rather than adding to the sense of space, which they can sometimes do. In addition to the main stage, and the one behind the bar, there was a very small stage off to the side of the seating area, on the way to the lap dance section. There was also a slightly elevated section sort of between the bar and the regular area, with its own stage. There was lots to look at, but the club was so broken up and oddly angled that it was hard to find a seat that let you see more than one thing at a time. Some sections of the floor were freezing cold, with air blowing from their A/C vents.
