Vegan food and $2 bills
First time coming back to Casa in a couple of years. One of the reasons I decided to come on this day was I saw that on their website on their schedule that there were a lot of girls scheduled for that day. On a side note I wish more clubs would post their online schedule like Casa, DV8, Venue to name a few. Anyways back to the review, the club is located in the industrial district in Portland. You pull into the club, there are a few parking spots at the bottom, but most of the parking spots are on top of the hill, so you have to go up the hill, and it’s a pretty steep hill. IMO Casa has one of the worst parking situations for clubs in Portland.
They are open 2 pm-2:30 am everyday besides Monday. On Monday they are open from 7pm to 2:30 am. There is no cover expect for Friday or Saturday. On Friday and Saturday the cover starts after 7:00, and it’s $8. They have $2 bills, they only give you change in $2’s, so I would recommend bringing lots of $1’s to this club. This also means if you don’t bring ones, that every time you tip the waitress or bartender it will be at least $2 because those are the only bills they are giving out. Inside the club it feels small, I think it’s because the stage right in the middle of the club takes up a lot of the space. There is a sign on the stage that says a minimum of $2 must be put down for each song if you’re sitting down at the seats on the stage. It doesn’t have to be a $2 bill, it can be two $1’s, it just has to be 2 dollars in total for each song. There is one long stage that separates into two stages. The girls do two song sets, the first song is on the first separated stage, and the second song is on the second separated stage. The music seemed to be mainly rock and metal. Some of the girls do dildo shows on stage, so kind of a different aspect sometimes.
Drink prices are decent. I think like 4 bucks for a Jack and Coke. The waitresses are pretty consistent in asking you if you want a drink, in fact at times a little bit too much. There is a patio outside where you can go to smoke. It’s also a Vegan club, so they have Vegan food. I don’t come to the club to eat, so I didn’t pay attention to the food menu. There is not a lot of seating at this club, so when it gets busy you likely will be standing. In addition to the long stage, there is a another stage behind the long stage. This stage is mainly where the girls warm up before they go on stage. There is a sign on the front of the stage that says something like “customers stand here if you want to get a dance”. So essentially if you want to get a dancer’s attention to get a dance, you stand there.
