Not a totally wasted evening

Location: Washington Avenue in Manville, right off of N Main Street. If you're coming from the north, you'll take 287 south to 22 east, then make a right at the Infiniti dealership. Drive about 10 minutes and make a right on Washington Ave. If you're coming from the south, your GPS will tell you to take 287 north to exit 12, then take some back roads, and make a left onto Washington Ave. The club is almost immediately on your right, it's a one way street but you shouldn't miss it. It's a safe enough place at night, though I wouldn't go wandering around with all sorts of bling on. Plenty of street parking, it's never busy. If you need cash, there's a BoA right at the corner of N Main and Washington, better to go there than get jacked up by atms fees at the club.

Inside: When you walk in, you have the register to your left to pay the entry fee (15-25, depending on the day and time, plus 5 for a water). Mens room is straight ahead, right next to the dressing room. You make a right to get into the club proper. There's a long stage in the middle, with a bar all the way down to your left. (It's never open, so don't sit there). Immediately to your left is a raised area the girls tend to hang out in when they're not in the dressing room. There's some chairs and high tops circling the edge of the room. To your right is the dj booth, right in front of the entrance to the VIP rooms. There's five VIP rooms, all pretty small, they put in the old leather couches from DDTR to replace the crap they had in there earlier. Behind the VIP rooms is the lap dance area, just one long couch. Lap Dances are 25, VIP is 125 for 15 and 225 for 30. The place could use a renovation, but with the area and the low revenue stream, it won't happen anytime soon.

Atmosphere: This is a very low traffic club that you wouldn't know about unless you specifically seek it out. In the old days when it was Frank's Chicken House, they used to have former porn stars as featured dancers every week and advertised in the Star Ledger. These days, not even close. Even before Covid, the customer base was shrinking at a rapid pace. Don't be surprised if you come in at prime time on a Friday or Saturday night and be the only person around the stage. So if you feel awkward being the only guy in a strip club, this isn't the place for you. It's the same girls working almost every evening, don't plan on seeing a new face too often. If you find a girl you like and click with, get her number and text her when you're planning to come in so she's ready for you. If you don't have numbers and you're planning to go to see a specific girl, call ahead and ask if she's there. Then when you get to the club, ask for the girl. They'll bring her out from the back if she's not already occupied. Otherwise, you're at the mercy of who's on stage at the time. Aside from the dancers, there's almost no staff, usually the dj/manager and a bouncer/doorman, and that's it. Girls are on stage one at a time, or maybe 2 if there's actually 4 customers in the club. Sets are 20 minutes long.
