It has been a few months since I have reviewed The Venue, but I am usually here a couple times a month. This time, it happened by chance, since I was stood up by a TNA lady. After waiting for a half hour beyond our meeting time in my truck, I finally get a text on my burner phone. To my surprise, it wasn’t her, but a dancer I have gotten to know fairly well at The Venue. With that, I sent a text to the original lady saying I am taking off and made a five minute drive to the club, around noon. A couple of pluses for me about this club, they open at 10 AM and they do a decent job of posting their dancer schedule on their website.

Unlike most clubs on the SE/NE side, The Venue seems like it is a step up and can really claim to have a “gentleman’s club” vibe, outside and inside. Situated between two one way streets, it makes parking and leaving easy. On this Tuesday, the large lot was fairly empty. This club doesn’t have an outside patio, so patrons and dancers have an outside bench they can sit and smoke, right beside the double door entrance. I walked in, no bouncer, no cover, no id check, and headed to the bar. There is a dj to the left as you walk in and I suspect he is checking out everyone entering or leaving (I am guessing). There is a round stage in the middle of the main room with a smaller second stage towards the back. I have never seen the second stage in use, but I am usually here in the mornings or afternoons. They have lotto machines beside the dj booth and up in an upper area in the back. Lots of tables and chairs scattered about, with plenty of seating at the rack (stage).

As I walked to the bar, I saw the dancer that sent me the text and we smiled at each other like we were old friends (okay, she is there for the money and I am there for the pleasure, but it is a fun fantasy). When I got to the bar, the bartender asked me if I had a mask on me, which I pulled out and showed her. She did not make any issue of it, but I haven’t been asked that before. I gave her $3 for my coke, tipped a buck, and head to the rack with ones in my hand. There were six dancers here and two other patrons besides myself. I had the rack to myself and the “lovely” Morgan (trying to sound like a dj) at the rack. Well in this case, she was really lovely, with an athletic sexy body, friendly personality, and a 7+ on my scale. She did three songs and I tipped $2/song. She got totally nude by the second song and was very aggressive at the rack. She was in my lap, gave me great views of the goods inches from my face, her head grazed my lap a few times and anyways, you get the picture. She quoted the normal for this place, $40 per or 3/$100 dances. If I hadn’t come there for another purpose, I would have definitely gone back and done one dance with Morgan with hopes I would be buying more if things went the way I thought they might.
