Killing time is Chilling time.
First time here in several years, since travel has not brought me to Ogden lately. Generally, the experience is the same as what I recall from years ago. Here are the main things that registered with me.
New club name. Can be hard to spot the address on a dark business street on the far west side of Ogden.
Same small rotation of dancers. There were only 5 customers in the club during the 45 minutes I was there, and only 3 were stage-side. (Others were playing pool with a dancer.) Five dancers each doing solo 2-song sets. Every day might be different, but on this visit between 7 and 8 pm on a Friday night there seemed to be less energy and fewer tattoos than I recall. No, I really don't blame the dancers for not being amped up for a round of stage time from which they would only be getting about $10 in tips. I enjoyed the basic slow dances they were doing. I assume the energy level would pick up later in the evening, but I was just traveling through town and stayed for just under one hour. No admission fee when I arrived just after 7 pm, but saw a sign saying there would be a $5 fee to enter after 8 pm. Bartender checked (scanned?) IDs, and was the only employee I saw there.
