Torch Lounge is in a somewhat rundown part of South Bend. I parked on the street, which is well lit. The parking lot beside the building is not well lighted. I would avoid that. Inside, the place is really small. There's an aisle between the two seating areas that runs straight to the bar. The seating areas are both the same size. I'll be generous and say they're each 20'x30', but they're probably smaller. There are some small tables with chairs and built in couches along the walls. The center aisle leads to the bar which has a few stools. The stage is behind the bar. But the girls will dance on the stage then walk along the top of the bar to dance for tips.

When I walked in they charged me $10 cover then searched me thoroughly, feeling everything that was in my pockets and questioning a couple of items. I sat at one of the tables near the front of one of the seating areas and a girl from the bar came over right away. I bought a soda or a water and I don't remember what I spent. There were lots of young guys there that night (I'm not young). The place was pretty full. Most of the girls were occupied with the younger guys but eventually one approached me for a private dance for $20.

The area for the private dances was anything but private. It's a small room with built in couches against the walls so as you're getting a dance you can also see anyone else getting one. And when I say small, I mean there's only enough room for about six dances to go on at once. The rules are no touch and when I put a hand on the girl's hip she warned me off saying that I would get in trouble. So I sat on my hands while she bounced and squirmed on me. The girls that night were plentiful. A lot of them were good looking. At one point they all paraded across the stage and onto the bar and a two for one private dance deal was announced.
