Holding Pattern

As in still waiting to have a good time at this place. Dunno what it is, this place has all the piece parts but, somehow they just don't seem to quite fit together when I am there. Located right in "downtown" Romulus just a few minutes off I-94 / Vining exit; close to DTW for you travelers. During this trip hit this place on a Tuesday ~ 9pm and a Friday around 8pm.

Pulled in and used the Valet, $7-8? and proceeded to walk up the stairs to pay my $20 cover. The stage and bar are on the second level while the VIP rooms are down a set of stairs at what would be street level. It not that big of a place with a narrow "airplane" shaped stage (2 poles) surrounded by tables and booths with a U shaped bar to your left as you walk in. Smallish bathroom with attendant to the right past the DJ.

Tuesday about 15 customers and a dozen dancers, somewhat low energy in the place. Several of the dancers just hanging out in booths on their phones or sitting with what seemed like their regulars. After several stage tips I finally had a dancer stop by who goes by the name of one of the X-men. Blond and friendly we headed downstairs and paid the $20 booth fee. They now have a centrally located light fixture above the booths so you can actually see what / who you are doing. Three $25 dances which were very nice during which she offered $300 for "half of me" and $600 for "all of me".
