My first visit to Platinum was on Friday night around midnight. I ubered so I can't talk about parking fees. Light pat down at the door and then entered the club. There's an initial hallway with a window on the right where you pay cover. Lady quoted me $40. I was confused bc I've read that most pay $20 from other reviews, but she said it was $40 due to the volume of people.
Once inside there's a bar in front with maybe 8 chairs and a small stage to the left. There's also a room to the right with a few couches and another stage with plenty of seating all of the way down to the left.
The club was absolutely packed. No seating at the bar or around either stage. Paid $5 + tip for bud light.
I wondered around awkwardly for a few min looking for a seat, but ended up standing near the club entrance. There were prob 30-40 girls working at that time. Most (if not all) were AA. A few plus sized dancers came up and tried to talk, but I played nice for a few min and declined dance/VIP offers as they were not my type. I came here looking for some Cubans mentioned in other posts, but I guess those were mostly day shift reviews.
After another 10min or so of awkward standing, I downed my beer and left. I normally like to post up at the bar at clubs and due to the club being packed I just wasn't feeling it. The rap music also wasn't my favorite.
May try again during a day shift like other posters mentioned.
