Update on Key West (Monroe County, FL)

Living in Fort Lauderdale, at least part-time, I am lucky to have Hallendale/North Miami clubs a bit to the south and Pompano clubs just north. Still, sometimes I get the urge for the multifaceted pleasures of KeyWest which years ago would host some spectacular entertainers as they danced their way around the country. There hasn't been any reporting on KeyWest so I thought I should report briefly on my visit Saturday June 20, 2021.

Bare Assets was the 1st stop about 9:45pm and the main parking lot had one truck parked in the corner. Drove up to the door and poked my head inside to find they were open. Parked and entered. $20 entrance but was let in free after telling the guy they needed more light or at least a brighter 'OPEN' sign in the window. Within an hour the lot was 2/3rds full, I just mention this because it can look closed if you get there early.

8-10 dancers 4-8 range and improving every 15 minutes or so with new arrivals.Eastern euro, US, South American, where were the Cubans? Drinks modest,$6-8 for most mixed. Dances were topless @ 20/ in curtained rooms that would accommodate about 4-5 customers each. Mileage varied but tame for S Fl. Private rooms available but I didn't enquire. Extras always were YMMV negotiable depending on the entertainer, I ASSUME that is still the situation. Stage was standard lingere>topless>nude.
