A Tale of Two Day Shifts

Had never been to day shift at Wackos until recently. Ended up going 2 days in a row. Here are some details about those 2 afternoons:

(Saturday, 3PM):

My partner in crime and I walked up to the stand but there was no one there. The DJ announced over the mic “free before 6pm guys, come on in.” $10 after 6. Through the metal detector. Random pat downs during the day. Everybody gets pat down at night. Even during day shift, the parking lot was already 60% full. At night the cars fill up the entire strip mall lot, the Hot Wok Chinese restaurant parking lot next door (which claims to tow), and the abandoned gas station across the street. Crazy.
