Good to be back. Yeah

The great Covid titty drought ended for me in a wonderful manner Saturday. Put on a mask and walked into Sweet Illusions about 3PM. There stood the owner/manager, ask the source I thought. “We’re playing it legal”, he said. “Masks on when approaching the bar or stage, unless just dropping off a tip. At your table with drink, no need, if getting a dance, it’s between you and the dancer.” No seating at rail or bar yet, but that should a change in a week or two, once Oregon hits 70% vaccinated and all restrictions are lifted. So, no dollar dances or smiling faces to help judge dancer potential. One can ask for dance when tipping at stage, or, I saw bouncer/DJ deliver message/send girl to someone’s table a couple times.

Basic club facts: lots of free parking (lot repaved during shutdown), no cover, smallish club, square stage with pole at one end with mirrored wall behind (makes club look bigger), moderate lighting and music levels. DJ/ dancer area in left corner as you come in, under 21 dancers need to stay behinds the ropes there. My flavored water was 5, plain water was 4, and beers start at 5. Restroom smelled a bit as if it wasn’t cleaned from last night, but wasn’t awful.

11 dancers were on board, a typical # for here. Two AA, maybe a Hispanic, a few slim, rest H/W proportional, no chubbies today (uncommon to see one here), but no stunners either, just good looking gals. That said many of the crew, like being reported elsewhere, were carrying just a bit of the covid softness. Club vibe was down some, without $ dances, stage sitting, and being able to ‘hang out at the bar’, or to circulate freely, dancers were more dependent on PLs making the 1st move. But dances were being sold, SI did not further exacerbate problems by raising prices (laps still $20) like a club in Eugene. The 2 little VIP booths were being used too, stripper convo said 15 minute time available now at 125, $100 for the dancer, as well as 30 minutes for $225.
