Insane table minimum on a Friday

I arrived here on a Friday night at 9:40. April 2. Walked up and bouncer said $250 min spend for a table or we could not go in. I asked if we could just pay the cover and find seats and he said we could pay $50 each but as soon as they found people to fill our seats for the $250 minimum, they'd kick us out. So we said no thanks, went to Scarlett's and paid $10 to get in and have a great time.

I read all the reviews on here that were positive, so I wanted to check it out. But that is ridiculous. It wasn't 2 am. It was 9:40. I know Broward is getting mobbed because of the curfew but no excuse to charge $250 just to walk in with 2 people.

So either go during weekdays or run away. Because that's crazy and not competitive with the area.
