So, a few changes at Bourbon Street. Same old, same old: no cover during the day, temp check required, bouncer escorts you to your table. Masks no longer required, though I wear one upon entry. Coke's are still $5.

Table layout still, the same, as is the closed off section of VIP still. Allegedly, the owner is "taking it slow" even though its main competitors in its geographic area (HL, Band-Aids, and S44) have all returned to normal operations. Whatever. VIP dances still $20 each with no entry fee, but...

They have opened the regular dance booths behind the wooden wall. This area (at least during the day), has ALWAYS been closed off for as long as I can remember. Had no idea they were even converted into HL-like booths (with shorter walls, though). The dances here are $10, and as good, if not better, than VIP. Dancers are "allowed to turn around here" which they currently are not allowed to do in VIP. Odd, and, of course, all the PLs now go here because why not? Even my regular simply brought me to this area first, with no drop-off in the service I've received over the last year during COVID, which was a lot higher than typical customers.
