Surprisingly Good
Checked out Bogarts a few weeks ago...first time after the re-open. I wish they would have redone a few things...but of course that did not happen. I went there about 7 pm...so 3 hours before the mandated 10 pm closing time. Masks required when you walked in...most people did not have them on...wait staff and dancers had them on. Same place as always. It was pretty crowded so I sat on the bench seating on the left right after you walk in. Had a few $7 beers when was there (one was a $5 special which they do every so often). The waitstaff was decent but pretty busy...I gave one of them a $20 for a drink and she said she would be back with change...but she didn't come back so I flagged down another waitress who talked to hr...the first one came back and was very apologetic...seemed genuine...so I just told her I understand and did nothing more with it. Chatted with her a bit more and was quite friendly and engaging.
So...as for the talent...it was surprisingly good by Bogart' standards...4-7 with a few 8s thrown in there. There were no finales due to Covid restrictions...so it was about a 4 set, 3 girl rotation. There was one white and 2 AAs that caught my I...Justice was one of the AAs and I believe that Sparkle was the other...both fairly tone and attractive...Justice was more athletic in her stage show...but after tipping she went to another booth. There was a good looking white girl who did great pole tricks (did not catch her name)...tipped her and tried to flag her down...but she went to regulars table and did not circulate. The mid-30s AA (Sparkle, I think) came buy and we chatted a bit...we went upstairs and did a couple of dances. Good mileage and "other activities" were definitely on the table...but I settled for 3 dances.
All in all it was a good experience compared to last summer...things are definitely looking up here talent wise and I will be back...
