Gold Club post covid

I've been to Gold Club a few times since the reopening after covid. I think they open pretty early like noon. I usually get there around 6 or 7. Cover depends on how busy it is. Sometimes the cover is five bucks, sometimes it's ten bucks. There might be no cover earlier in the day, but I don't know because I don't go that early. There have been a couple of times I've had to wait outside because they were at capacity (per covid restricions).

Part of the reason it's very busy at times (especially when they reopened in late May) was that it was the first club in the Portland area to reopen post covid. It was another three weeks or so before more clubs in the Portland area reopened, so Gold Club was the only club open in town for a bit.

The customer type is more blue collar, younger crowd. There is a bartender, but they generally don't have a waitress, so if you want a drink, you have to go to the bar to get one. There is one main stage, and there is a minor stage. The stages don't have seats, so if you want to tip, you have to stand up and just set the money down. Music is pretty much all hip hop. They have the lottery machines there, and that's actually what a lot of the customers go there for, not even paying attentions to the girls lol. They do have a smoking patio as well.
