sinclair's Review
I plunged into The G Spot at 01:40 on a Saturday night. There is a small gravel parking lot and plenty of street parking. The cover charge was $10, which is very reasonable considering this is a BYOB strip club. You are given a wristband which allows you to go in and out. Smoking is not allowed inside the building. The strip club is fully nude and is only open on Fridays and Saturdays from 21:00 to 05:00. With regards to the COVID-19 pandemic, there was no requirement to wear a mask and not a single dancer or patron wore a mask.
Since I was last at The G Spot in May of 2019, the inside has been remodeled. As you enter, the large square stage, with a spinning pole in its center, is to the immediate left. It is flanked by two rooms with curtains on one side and two rooms with closing doors on the opposite side. The rest of the pole barn is occupied with generously spaced tables and chairs. The back two-thirds of the room is almost like wasted floor space with all of the stage and private dance action happening in the front one-third of the room. I preferred the old configuration from 2019 where the large stage was in the middle of the room. There is a lone dartboard in the back left corner and a lone pool table in the back right corner. Also worth noting: the mechanical bull has left the premises.
On my most recent visit, all four dancers working were younger African-Americans: Safeena, Cyn, Trinity, Princess. All of them looked to be between 20 and 26 and in the 5.5 to 7 range. The dancers had good attitudes and took everything off during their stage sets. Stage contact was fully interactive. Most of the music played by the DJ was hip hop. There is a TouchTunes jukebox near the entrance, but I am not sure when, if ever, it gets used; perhaps early in the night before the crowd picks up.
