Just Lust

Decided to drive down to Toledo last Thursday to see what clubs are open and what the scene is like now. Drove by Hush at around 5:30 PM and it was closed. Went to see if Charlie's Angels (the old Vu) was open yet, and nope. Drove by Scarlett's, or whatever it's going to be called and the lot was empty. I'd heard Platinum was closed, so didn't bother. So I headed to Lust, getting there a little bit after 6:00 PM.

The lot had more cars than I expected, and I took that as a good sign. I walked in and instead of a hot girl at the door it was a guy with a mask. Door guy let me know some of the new rules, which include this weird one: you have to wear a mask until you sit down. Once you get a drink you can't move from one table to another. You have to have an employee move it for you. What? Who made up that one? Also, if you go to the back with a girl, both you and she must wear a mask during the dances.

He took my temperature and $5 cover. I put a buck in the tip jar and he didn't even have the decency to show me his boobs. The nerve.

I went in, wearing my mask, and hit the bathroom. No attendant, and the restroom seems to have had some work done, though it doesn't actually appear to have been finished.

Sat down between the stage and the windows and a masked blonde girl (I think her name is Hayley or something close) got me a water for three dollars. The club seemed darker than normal. I counted maybe five dancers.
