Enjoyable time in the age of COVID-19 closures

This visit occurred after the second round of Covid-19 club closings in Texas. For a few weeks, things had been back to normal, but then after a rapid rise in infections, the governor decided to close all bars again for at least two weeks, and probably a lot longer. Most strip clubs were affected by this edict. He explicitly blamed people congregating in bars for the rapid rise in infections. I actually think that normal bars were far worse than strip clubs. From videos at normal bars, they were crowded, and people were standing very close to each other without masks. On the contrary, in the strip clubs I visited, none were more than 25% capacity, and there was a good deal of spacing between different parties, and most people were wearing masks. The agents of transmission would be dancers who floated from party to party, and who took off their masks during lap dances.

Buck's Wild is a BYOB club that does not sell alcohol, so they could reasonably claim that more than half their revenue came from food sales. So they stayed often when every topless bar in Texas closed. I came in around 6 on a Saturday and cover was $10. I paid an additional VIP band for $10. The VIP section is a large slightly raised area to the side. It is just as big as the main part of the club. It's a little more private because it has booths along the walls far away from the entrance, and it is pretty dark. I purposely came in early because this place typically gets busy late, after 10 pm and stays open until 6 am on weekends. That way I could see some of the day shift and the night shift and leave before it got too crowded. As you would expect, the club was not busy at all, with about a dozen customers and an equal number of dancers. For the most part, there were one or two other couples who would wonder into VIP occasionally.

Most of the dancers were in the 6 to 7 range, no ugly ones, and a few beauty queens. First a curvy aggressive Cuban dancer approached me, but she was not my type. But she could not take a hint to leave, and I gave her a beer and $20 to leave after about 20 minutes of trying to nicely shoo her off. I saw a very pretty white girl on stage with a great body. Actually, she kept her face mask on the whole time so I can't say for sure what she looked like. But the rest of her was great. I asked her for dances and she came over. She gave me two dances but would not take off her mask. Her dances were low contact also. Dances were $20 for topless, and $30 for nude. I think she was pissed I didn't opt for nude dances. I cut my losses after 2 dances. I then saw a very pretty Mexican girl on stage. She was fully naked and had a great slender body. She was very friendly and she came over after stage.
