St James back to pre-pandemic service levels but with fewer dancers

Went one day after they reopened after the corona virus shutdown. Everything was the same as normal except they had a plexiglass shield around the entrance cashier, and they required you to use hand sanitizer before entering. Also menus were printed on disposable paper and the bar areas were off-limits. Nobody was wearing masks although a mask was offered at the door if the customer wanted one. For a Saturday night, the energy level was low. Perhaps because of the Memorial day weekend or people still being wary, the club was about 1/3 full when it's usually packed on a Saturday. Also, there were few dancers, less than 20, when a usual Saturday would probably have about 50 or 60. Quality of dancers was a little lower than average ranging from 5 to 7. I sat with a few regulars, had a few dances from 3 of them. All were the usual high mileage dances available before the quarantine with no restrictions. There were a lot of customers sitting around looking bored. As usual, this can be a tough club for new customers. Girls in general will not approach the customers. The better looking ones are often unavailable and stay with regular customers or in VIP with high rollers all night. On a night with fewer than the usual number of dancers, it is slim pickings for most customers. In other words, you need to go on a regular basis and start to make friends with some of the waitresses and dancers in order to obtain a good level of fun.
