No Scoring at Scores

Rolled into Scores around 10pm on a Friday night, with 3 friends. We usually go to SR in WPB, but wanted to switch things up. There were 2 police cars in the parking lot when we arrived, with 1 officer standing in the general vicinity of the door. We thought something had happened, but when we got inside found out that they are there all the time. Doesn't give the warm fuzzies.

After paying a $10 cover, we entered a large, high ceilinged open room with a center-ish stage. A lot of tables all around, most open as there were maybe 20 guys in the club. Looked like it could easily fit 300.

Sat down and scanned the scene. Not many women in the area, and most seemed on the thicker side (not my type, but preferred by some of my group). After sitting for about 10 minutes, we went up and got drinks. 4 drinks total was about $40, without tip, fairly standard (mixed drinks and beers).

At some point, a thick Latina got on stage and half danced, half chatted with a bouncer. A few other women, mixed ethnicities, were either sitting by themselves at tables or sitting with a few of the other tables with men. We actively discussed leaving halfway through our drinks (in other words, we were sitting there for about 20 mins with no approaches from dancers or really seeing anyone other than the unenthusiastic girl on stage).

A DJ got on the soundsystem and announced some sort of specials dance. $50 for some extended period of time (sorry, I forgot the amount, I think 10 mins). Only then did all of the girls stand and begin to circulate. We had about 6 women come by the table. My boys all grabbed someone, a mix of 5-6's. I held out, hoping for something better. Finally agreed to a dance with a skinny, blonde with shoulder and back tattoos. Was led to an area with benches and chairs in behind a half wall. No privacy from everyone else getting a dance back there (no dividers, rooms, curtains, etc). DJ announced the start of the special and my girl starts giving me a stiff, non-touching air dance. I'm about to ask her what her problem is, then I look around. Every other girl giving the same type of dance, little to no contact, not really engaging with the guy. I can see my friends and we all raise our hands like "WTF?". There were 2 bouncers hovering by the door.
