After the hiatus - better lighting, fewer dance options, slightly worse quality of dancers

This was my first visit to Scarlett's after their fire last spring, and their remodeled re-opening last fall. The outside was about the same, except for a change in the lit sign on the roof. The parking lot is in good shape and remains well lit. Both Thursday evening (about 10:30pm) and Friday late (about 2:00am) the lot had plenty of open spaces. The cover both nights was $10.

Inside, they've replaced all of the furniture with similar cushioned lounge chairs. The main stage ahead and left of the entrance looked roughly the same, but had been replaced (the stage floor no longer said "Hollywood" or whatever club was there before it was Scarlett's). To the right of the entrance the long narrow stage looked unchanged. The lighting was significantly dimmer and had less black-light, both of which were improvements over what they had before. The bar area looked a bit more wrap around. Along the wall near the long stage they still had the individual couch booths with the tinted glass doors. They had some more of those on the other side (right of the bar) which I don't think were there before. On the far left from the entrance, past the main stage, they've done away with the separate room where they had another stage and did topless $25 dances. That's now just more space in the main room, with a small tertiary stage and some VIP seating. They also got rid of the spaces with the beds and replaced that section with a warren of 30/60 minute dance rooms with solid doors. Overall, I think the remodel didn't change a lot but was largely an improvement in ambiance.

When I was there Thursday they had some sort of special going on where drinks were half price, so my bottle of water was only $2.75. On Friday I didn't get anything to drink. Waitresses were attentive to the room and checked in often, without being pushy about anything.
