The long slow decline seems to have begun.

I have not been through Jacksonville much in the past year, and visited Sinsations last time through. After an absence of many, many months I decided I would visit Wackos and see if the recent reviews were accurate. Unfortunately, it seem true that Wackos has lost it's touch!

I walked in late on a Sunday afternoon, well before dark. Still no cover during the day. The club wasn't empty, but it kinda felt that way! Plenty of seats at the long horseshoe bar. Only a few tables occupied. Several bouncers, few waitresses, and a dearth of dancer talent. Turned out most of the 15 or so dancers were hanging out in the back and only coming out to dance or make an occasional walk around. Strike one.

I got my 2for1 beer (I think it is $3, but I'm not sure because I just pushed a fiver and a one across to the hot bartenderess and said, thanks) I watched the dancers on the main stage and then at the bar end stage. The DJ had them each doing 3 songs at each stage. Few people were tipping, but the lack of energy by the dancers would fully explain that. Low energy, no flashes of tits or pulling on g-strings, one dancer went through six songs in a "little black dress" and never even flipped up the skirt! Strike two.
