I think I've got a new ATF!

I rolled into the parking lot in Martinsburg at 1:15 pm - right on schedule. I had been looking forward to this trip for two months so there was a lot of anticipation involved.. the parking lot is fairly small out front, but it looks like there will be lots of overflow around back, at least when the very large, 3-storey addition is completed. The lot is free, and there is no valet.

It really pays to study the reviews before you go; because I had done my homework, I knew how to navigate the arcane entry procedure. I entered the unprepossessing front door, looked for the entry button, and pressed it. There was nobody at the entry window, but I got the answering buzzer that allowed me into the inner sanctum. Erin, the legendary bartender, waved me over to collect my $10 entry fee and take my drink order. There was no ID check or pay down. I ordered two Bloody Maria's, one for me and one for Summer, who I had come to see. She heard my order from the other end of the bar and gave me the "thumbs up" and came right over.

Great drink, an amazing Bloody Mary mix, tequila instead of vodka, a skewer with 4 olives, two lime wedges, and (best of all) a beautifully crisped, thick piece of bacon. A well spent $10 apiece.
