Mountain Mamas

Arrived to what looked like a fairly full parking lot for a week night around 11:00. There was even a car or two pulling in before me with foot traffic to the door. The front door opens to small vestibule and then a desk on the left hand side in the main room. Here there was an ID check - and it was studied closely even though I’m in my forties - a $10 cover, and you had to wrote your “first name and last initial” in a stupid little book. I was supposed to receive two $5 bills back as change.

For having a lot of cars, inside was mostly dead. There’s an L shaped bar with 12-16 stools and 3-4 two top counter height tables in the bar area. This area is pretty normally lit, which isn’t bad, it’s just kind of weird. There were 4-5 patrons sitting at the bar with girls. Most of the other girls were perched at the two tops. A few said hello and started small talk when I walked in but then I went to the bar to get a beer. Import bottle was $8 - and again was given $5s as change. Note, this place a cash only - no starting a tab with a card at the bar.

I haded the bartender $60 to get singles for the rail. She told me to go back to the front desk and exchange them there. There was now an older female there (assuming owner?) and she was almost annoyed to have to give me a stack on $1s.
