sinclair's Review
I went to the Club Coyote at 20:45 on a Saturday night. The club is a pole barn just south of De Soto on US 51. The parking lot is gravel, and there were many water-filled potholes. There was a $5 cover charge. You are given a wristband which gives you in-and-out privileges for the rest of the evening in case you want to run out to get food or take a smoke break. Sincweisers were a very reasonable $3. The interior is very open with a large square bar dominating the square footage. The bar has poles coming out of it for dancers to work the bar top if needed. The main stage is a large rectangle with two nine-foot-tall pole positions. A runway connects the main stage to the rear of the bar. There are also two satellite stages with poles on each side of the room. Private dances take place in an area behind the DJ booth that has a low wall preventing sight lines from the rest of the room. The restrooms are in the back left corner. The front left corner of the room is like a game room with two pool tables and a punching bag machine.
