Nacho typical dance club -- for better for for worse

I had been to this club once, a number of years ago. Found it quirky but interesting then, so thought I'd give it another try in the middle of a cross-country drive. Arrived at around 11 p.m. on a Saturday night.

The place is different right off the bat, as there are actually two bars -- one with dancers and one without. When you walk in at the door, you're met by two more doors. There's also a little bitty sign that says "Boobies" with an arrow to the left-hand door.

First thing inside (after the $5 cover) is a fairly long bar across the back of the room, and you take a couple steps down to the dance floor area. The stage is only about a foot off the floor, so there's no real "front row." Just one row of tables closer than the others. And pay attention to the direction of the lights, as it's hard to see the dancers if you sit in the lights' glare. The stage is long and narrow with three poles, though the back two poles were not being used that night.

There were only a handful of customers and about 7 or 8 dancers. Here's where it gets sort of unique. Many wouldn't like this -- some would. There weren't really any dancers that would be considered top-notch in a conventional club. It was about 50% BBWs, 30% skinny minnies and the rest a bit on the mature side. But on the plus side, the BBWs were also rather busty, at least one of the skinnies was fairly cute and at least one of the matures was pretty nice quality. They all got topless on stage; none got nude, though I was told some do when it's a bit more crowded. They did step off the stage and spend some time in the customers' lap (with some hands allowed) when tipped. And they were all more than happy to talk and goof around with customers between turns on stage, even if they weren't buying dances.

I wasn't in the mood that night for any private dances, but was quoted $40 for topless and $60 for nude, each price for two songs. Private dances were done somewhere behind the stage, not visible from the rest of the club.
