Dallas - The Lodge still delivers

It's been eighteen months since my last visit to Dallas. It seems that work has had me traveling all over the country, except for Dallas. Being away from a city for that long, you certainly notice the changes when you arrive. More buildings, new restaurants, and some old favorite haunts now closed. Fortunately, my favorite club, the Lodge, is still in operation.

In full disclosure, for all the time I've spent in Dallas over the years, I've limited myself to just visiting the Lodge as it has always met my needs. This trip was no exception.

For a Monday evening, the parking lot was more full than I was expecting. Generally, when there are that many visitors, the competition for a dancer's attention may be a challenge. Fortunately, they were adequately staffed and the patron to dancer ratio wasn't an issue.
