The More Things Change...

I ended up with a free night so I thought I would hit up my local club as it had been over a year since my last visit. Some things don't ever change I suppose.

The parking lot is big, well lit, safe, and free. Cover charge early in the evening is $12, which seems excessive to me but it is Asheville. Once you enter the club, the bar is to your right, restrooms to the left, stage in the back middle with tables and couches surrounding the stage. A single shot of liquor is $8 and a double is $12 so I did the math and ordered a double bourbon. Being Asheville, they also have craft beer at $6 I believe. I settled in with my drink next to the wall on right side of the stage.

I will say there was a dancer always on stage, which seems to be rare these days. There were about half dozen dancers, all white, all at least 6s+, and generally fit. There were only a couple of customers in the main club area, one an obvious regular who had been sitting and the bar, and me. It wasn't long until a dancer stopped by and took a seat. She wasn't bad but I'm sure the oldest girl there at 35. She talked a good game so we did do a couple dances in the VIP area, which were $25 each. She also told me there is another room where we could do more..the price for it was $175 for 15 minutes, up to $500 for an hour. I can't speak to the more since I only got the basic VIP dances. I couldn't touch at all and she really didn't either although it wasn't a pure air dance either. Afterwards, I went back to my table but no other dancer stopped by in the time I had left so I booked.
