Compilation review of recent visits

Its been said by others on TUSCL that most clubs in NJ tend to fall into one of two categories: anything goes clubs or squeaky clean (by Jersey standards) bikini bars. My experience shows this premise to be generally true but Bourbon St. is one of the few clubs that's somewhere in the middle (on the cleaner side of the scale though), which is why I've been back probably five times since my review last year. Bourbon Street's as interactive as you make it - no trouble getting LDs; most LDs are pretty good (standouts below); most girls are happy to chat and arent pushy; you can actually chill and relax here. Hot bartenders too but theyre very cliquish and music is usually too loud to chat with them anyway.

First off all of my recent visits were on Sundays, I like it when you can basically take your pick of the litter even if it is the B-Team. A lot of the girls here tend to be younger and a few that Ive talked to at least say its only a temporary job, theyre not in it for the long haul and it usually shows. Ive had some disappointing LDs here from young hotties who are just green and havent mastered the trade yet. Many of them probably never will, which sucks for us. So even though the girls skew young and very hot, they also skew inexperienced. But theres a bevy of them on any given sunday so you gotta explore and...you know...poke around a little. Some have systems for finding the good dancers, Im a simple Jersey boy and just follow my dick.

One of my favorite things about this place is the diversity of the dancers - these girls are literally from everywhere. Its like around the world in eighty lap dances. Nigeria, france/madagascar, russia, ukraine, kazakhstan, puerto rico, egypt, ireland, jamaica, dominican republic, colombia, spain, perth amboy - its fucking great. Many are bussed in from Brooklyn. Never got to experience the Kazakhs before (or maybe I just lumped them in as "Russian" in the past) - Mira is incredible in LD room and Alia is one of the prettiest dancers ive ever met. Both were beautiful. Surprising lack of Brazilians here, though. As usual the black and latina girls generally give the highest mileage dances. The european girls are great to talk to but expect pretty low mileage, with some exceptions - a few gave an incredibly sensual lap dance. Never really went for the White American girls here. There are usually plenty, many reek of GPS though. After some repeat trips i noticed the higher mileage girls tend to disappear (this place is pretty clean) but theres always at least one every night. Usually excellent selection here.

Club layout is the bar is right in front of you when you walk in which wraps around the stage in U-Shape. At the open end of the U you can sit in lower seats right at the stage (stage is basically a T which fits in the U) and stage tip. There are couches lining the perimeter of the club behind that with an elevated Champagne room up to the left. The place is actually surprisingly spacious. Best seats are at the stage in back in my opinion - easy to grab your favorite dancer after their show and best chance at avoiding the dollar parade. Similar "T-in-U"/"hybrid" layout at the Red Zebra in Matawan (review coming soon). Perhaps a new trend? Both were overhauled within the last two years. Polework varies greatly by dancer - some walk the ceiling, some just stand there.
