Cricket...the good and bad...and a bit of ugly...

Was up near the airport so I decided to try the Cricket out again. I like the general club setup...no parking/valet fee, no bathroom troll, smoking room closed off from the bar, etc. I also think their drinks are reasonable and food is good. Waitstaff is courteous and attentive. Club arrangement is OK,,,although I don't like the whole bar facing away from the dance floor thing. I have always liked those things about this club. I think this could be a great club given better management.

Unfortunately, the main reason that you go...the dancers...do not seem to match up with the other positive aspects of the club. There is also a negative vibe...for lack of a better description...the later in the night you go...maybe because the alcohol and other stuff is starting to hit everyone. The dancers were 4-8 about half and half white/AA. I recognized one dancer as a ROB from another club and was unfortunately approached without her realizing it...I shued her away. The only ones that would stop by were some of the heavier ones (not my thing...a bit of small talk and then they went on to others. The better looking ones were either into regulars or smoking (or both...I detest smoking...no offense to anyone who does it...just cant stand the smell when indoors). After about an hour it was time to leave. To mgmt...you could have something here if you show interest in the customers and get better talent...
