Fun can be had

Was in Costa Rica for holiday and visited Key Largo one evening. It is located in downtown San Jose in a safe neighborhood with the Del Mar Hotel across the street.

For starters this is not a strip club, but a bar/restaurant where free lancers hang around in the bar area to mingle and be picked-up. It is NOT an onsite brothel. The later in the evening the more women appeared. Local chicas as well as ones from other countries. All approachable and have their own pricing. Beware of upselling after you leave with your new friend. Music is played and there is a dance area to mingle with the girls.

If you prefer a more laid back atmosphere and more like a tavern feel try the Blue Marlin Bar which is inside the Del Mar Hotel. Freelancers hang-out at the bar. I found most spoke some English and others were quite proficient. Enjoy...
